FAQ Secure Payments

  • KOBIL Secure Payments brings identity-bound payment initiation and authorization into SuperApps and MiniApps. It connects the payment journey to the user’s trusted identity and the organization’s selected payment infrastructure.

  • No. KOBIL can integrate with existing payment providers and gateways through APIs. It adds the trusted user interaction, identity, authorization, and transaction layer around the payment process.

  • Once the user, payment method, and provider relationship are established, an eligible payment can be presented and authorized inside the trusted app flow. The user confirms the transaction without repeatedly entering the same checkout information.

  • Payment requests are delivered to authenticated users through authorized services. Access tokens, identity controls, transaction details, and digital authorization help verify who approved the payment and what was approved.

  • The payment APIs can support transaction creation, status inquiries, pre-authorization, final capture, cancellation, and full or partial refunds. Availability depends on the connected provider and merchant configuration.

  • Coverage is determined mainly by the connected payment provider, merchant agreement, currency, country, and use case. KOBIL defines the identity-bound interaction and integration layer rather than imposing one universal payment-method list.

  • Yes. An authorized MiniApp can request a payment after completing the required KOBIL Trusted Identity integration and receiving the appropriate access token. Transaction results are returned to the merchant’s registered callback service.

  • The payment journey can be integrated into the surrounding SuperApp or MiniApp experience. The available interface, provider components, required disclosures, and authentication steps depend on the selected payment architecture.

  • Yes. Supported APIs include transaction cancellation and refund operations, subject to the payment status, provider rules, merchant agreement, and permitted time window.

  • No technology alone makes an organization compliant. KOBIL can reduce friction and provide identity, authorization, and audit controls that support PSD2 SCA and payment-security requirements, while the final PCI DSS and regulatory scope depends on the full architecture and operating model.

  • Start with the target payment journey, current gateway or provider, markets, payment methods, and refund requirements. KOBIL can then define the required identity, API, callback, user-interface, and compliance flows.
