Security against the threats of the digital and global age

Worms/Munich, 28.05.2019. The dangers in the new digital age are growing, new "rules of the game" are changing the world. Business methods and customer behaviours are changing. Digitalisation makes the security factor more important than ever. Today's winners in digital payment systems are the US corporations, payment with smartphones is becoming socially acceptable. US dominance is becoming more and more powerful. The German Bundesbank is warning the traditional banks that there are no European alternatives to the payment systems of US corporations. Apple & Co are increasingly taking over customer relations and the banks would only be left with the role of payment processors in the background.

Digitalisation is taking hold. Should users carry out their transactions and online banking via third parties like PayPal, Apple Pay, Apple Card, Google Pay or Amazon? Should one entrust Facebook with one's identity and personal information, even pictures?

Didn't Facebook just show how negligently the company enabled third parties to access user data from the purchased messaging service WhatsApp at the end of 2018? Depending on the information that was libelled, Facebook is now an advertising platform, a collector of news, behavior or images all in one. Its users include 32 million Germans alone, who generously reveal their identity and privacy.

The supposedly social network Facebook can access and search every e-mail account and every smartphone via WhatsApp, take over and store addresses, and use them to specify a profile of everyone according to social relationships and behavior using algorithms. It even automatically links mobile phone photos to social networking profiles. Facebook is becoming a threat through its demoscopic knowledge - a digital oracle is beginning, but who wants and can stop it.

Thus, many participants in this digital world become manipulable, because the US corporations know how the individual "ticks" and scatters corresponding information/advertising - wasn't it the same with the "Trump election?”. At some point, people will no longer have any wishes of their own - they will have them taken away "by the system". So, as far as buying behaviour is concerned, every buying behaviour is analysed, where does he shop, which internet sites does he visit, even the steps that everyone takes can be registered. Advertising targeted by the market to his mail address or mobile phone is accepted without comment and in the end the person will no longer ask himself what to buy, but instead of "I want" he will buy "I am liked". Through targeted advertising the person becomes controllable. The loss of privacy must be avoided.

The scenario is frightening: UBER is the largest taxi company in the world, but does not own its own vehicles; Facebook is the world's most popular media owner, but does not create its own information; airbnb is the most important provider of accommodation, but does not own a single property; and Alibaba owns the leading platform for global trade, but does not have its own goods.

Collecting data/information is the strategy of US companies. In addition to personal data, they also possess behavioral data such as purchasing behavior, transaction data or the connections between each other - of millions of customers and offer YOUR own ecosystem for this purpose. Customers and users have to cede some of the disclosure of their personal data. Be the winner and keep your data to yourself. Everyone needs their own identity. There must also be a new, secure communication between business partners - a new communication platform.

"mPower" the secure communication platform

KOBIL Systems GmbH, based in Worms, Germany, has recognized the dangers facing "everyone" in the new digital age and offers with the world innovation "mPower" a solution based on a secure and trustworthy communication platform, on which users and with their business partners can quickly create new, security-critical "mini-processes" thanks to Business Logic (BL). These can be started either from the background system or from the mPower clients with solutions such as text messages, selection dialogs, document attachments or document signatures.

The goal of mPower is to realize all digital requirements via a dedicated ecosystem, which allows the user to transfer his digitization into all business processes. With a Business Logic it is possible to create chat bots, i.e. automatic communication that interactively exchange messages and documents with the client in a secure and binding manner. mPower integrates the background systems of the partners so that they can be used seamlessly.

With mPower everyone can use his own potential and build his own ecosystem. mPower has a modern login, verification on all platforms (PC, Mac, Tablet, iOS, Android and IOT) and realizes security and commitment. The motto: "protect your potential and be the next Facebook or Google". Business models are thus protected and the sovereignty over customer data remains in your own hands.

With mPower, the Worms-based company wants to pave the way for its customers into a secure, networked and more efficient digital business world, offering secure communication, secure digitization and secure identity. The communication becomes binding and removes anonymity. It offers a new digital world for communication with insurance companies, health insurance companies, banks and doctors with patient files. Orders in the pharmacy for medicines do not fall into the wrong hands. An e-mail from A to B will arrive there safely.

Everyone should use their potential and create their own ecosystem and network. mPower provides the secure connection between the partners and keeps control of their own data. Switching to this digital world is not difficult. KOBIL wants the "data collector" to spoil the business with mPower. "Build your own digitization", and "change the digital world with us". The appeal: "Protect your business", don't be just a spectator".

Two special features are hidden behind mPower: commitment and security! Supported by four factors: I AM, I KNOW, I HAVE, I SIGN. Via KOBIL the user secures the data and mPower ensures that everything is protected. mPower includes 5 different functions: mIDentity, mIDentity Hardware, mChat, mSign and mPay.

  • mIDentity is a hardware app developed by KOBIL with a hardened OS operating system, developed hardware with NFC and its own Internet. NFC ensures compatibility between devices and services.
  • mChat is a secure system for message exchange - a proprietary and binding WhatsApp - all data remains within the company.
  • mSign processes, signs and sends electronic documents, legally binding and secure with electronic signature technology. It manages and controls all electronic documents securely and reliably.
  • mPay implements the secure in-house payment and payment system, which can be quickly and securely adapted to new payment methods.
