On the leading trade fair infosecurity in London the new innovative products by KOBIL are presented at booth J60 from 27th April to 29th April 2010. Newest additions to the KOBIL product line are the KOBIL mIDentity 3G, a ground breaking one-fits-all product, developed in cooperation with the Belgian company OPTION, for the office sector KOBIL mIDentity 4smart DLP, the first mobile data safe with Cloud connection and for the banking sector mIDentity 4smart banking, the pocket size branch bank. The first optical chip card reader with touchpad worldwide, KOBIL opTAN touch, is another innovation by KOBIL. KOBIL SecOPTIC is OTP technology on the highest level, display and keyboard included.
The KOBIL mIDentity 3G, presented in a beta version on the Infosecurity for the first time ever, offers secure online banking via UMTS remote access as well as conventional internet use and online applications. In addition KOBIL mIDentity 3G is offering encrypted memory for secure data transfer and optionally a backup into the Cloud. In the small device there is a SIM card containing the digital identity, a UMTS SIM card (3G) as well as an AES encrypted data safe. The new strategic security product has been developed in joint venture with OPTION, market leader in the field of wireless technology, and will be available at the end of 2010.
The mobile data safe KOBIL mIDentity 4smart DLP with Cloud connection responds to the current security discussions concerning data control and is the ideal addition to traditional data leakage protection products whose effect is now working beyond the limits of the company network even in external environments through KOBIL technology. This is beneficial to field staff and freelancers and the employer can count on the flow control of KOBIL mIDentity 4smart DLP. KOBIL mIDentity 4smart DLP is smart card based and 256 AES encrypted. KOBIL mIDentity 4smart DLP can be managed centrally and executes secure backups. If the KOBIL 4smart DLP is attacked it logs itself off automatically.
KOBIL mIDentity 4smart Banking offers highly secure online banking. This is ensured by soft and hardware authentication components. With KOBIL mIDentity 4smart Banking bank transactions become legally binding as the digital identity of the user is stored on the USB device. Software installations are no longer required as all required applications are included on the mIDentity. KOBIL mIDentity 4smart Banking is already issued to online banking customers by numerous renowned banks all over the world.
The world novelty KOBIL opTAN touch offers improved ergonomics thanks to the innovative touchpad and therefore responds to modern requirements for the outfit of an IT security device. KOBIL ofTAN touch resorts to the already millionfold marketed optical reader KOBIL TAN Optimus Comfort and enables the secure creation of TANs for transaction signature.
KOBIL secOPTIC complements the already established OTP technology by KOBIL with a token, which is not just equipped with a display and a keyboard but also with an optical interface for the comfortable generation of TANs.
